ISIS is the perfect example of what blood thirsty evil can do when those they seek to kill have no means of protection. There will always be guns in this world because there will always be evil nations and criminals who could not care less about gun laws. If we allowed Progressives to run the show, we would all be sitting ducks for the killers who will still have illegal guns. We would have been bombed by Hitler who would have gotten the first bomb. Pacifist fools like Obama allowed this evil to come to power by doing nothing other than trying to disarm everyone. The Left is against concealed hand guns for protection. We are sitting ducks to the evils of this world. When's the last time you saw the cops get to the kill zone before the mass killings? Progressives are truly idiots and have no clue about human nature, no clue about evil, and live in some lala land whereby being nice to those who would harm us is their answer. Obama is not a progressive, and it is conservatives who give weapens to the wrong people. However, he is a Democrat, and had some leftist views. But conservatives don't "give weapons to the wrong people." It's the wrong people themselves who take weapons and use them the wrong way.
