The way the league handled that whole situation was a disgrace especially waiting until the day of game 7 to suspend Songaila. Absolutely ridiculous. The manner in which Lebron overreacts to the slightest foul is pathetic...he honestly has almost reached the Tim Duncan level of whining. At least Tim has earned his right to be a little b*tch... Unfortunately this is the nature of the game today. As long as the refs are gonna bail out the stars in this league (kobe included), the stars are going to take advantage. So to say he's a whiny punk is to dismiss how effective it is. He's not the only one and as long as Songaila made that extra movement he may as well take advantage. Still, the league may have mishandled this incident, but you can't blame Lebron for it and Songalia did make an agressive movement towards his chin. Side: No -
Yes, "Bron-Bron" is such a little cry baby. Anytime anyone gets close to him he looks at the refs and sticks out his arms and whines for a foul. He's not a whiny punk, it's just that he gets fouled so damn much and is such a fierce competitor that he gets pissed when he gets hacked. The crap that the Wizards tried to pull where they beat the crap out of him was ridiculous. Everyone who's not a Cavs fan is just jealous that we've got the second coming and you don't. Side: No -
Respect. I hate the NBA and rarely watch any games. But this young man seems to have his shit together in a way I wish other professional athletes had it together. I can't say whether or not the Cavs are giving him enough support or whether they're assuming he'll take it all on his shoulders but I can't see him as a whiny guy. My home town is Denver (huge Bronco fan) and the Nuggets got the 2nd best player in that particular draft with Carmelo Anthony. I don't watch the NBA much, as I said earlier, but I know enough to know he's a whiny guy. Side: No -

He is a man-child. Soon enough he'll just be a man. If you consider the amount of scrutiny and limelight he has received the past 8-10 years, I'd say he's handled it very well. Whiny? Maybe. Punk? Not at all. Whiny punk? I think every player in the NBA except Tim Duncan, Steve Nash, and KG are generally whiny punks. At least LeBron keeps playing. He might complain and scowl, but he's still in the game. Carmelo Anthony is a whiny punk. When he disagrees with a call, he breaks down and stops playing. While the other nine guys are on the otherside of the court, he just stands there under the other basket and yells at refs or expresses his disgust by moping around. That's a whiny punk...whiny bitch if you ask me. LeBron is a goon on the court. Of course he can play physical. Keep in mind he has a big bulls-eye target on his back. He gets attacked in the media by no name players, all the while they are guys trying to make a name for themselves by shutting him down. On top of that, the NBA is a dirty game that we don't always see, even since HD. Players pinch and poke, hook elbows, grab jerseys, try to get away with hitting other players in the nuts...all the frustration adds up. LeBron just gets into the game at the moment. I've never seen him cry or complain in a post-game conference or have a really terrible attitude, at least not yet. Side: No -
