Is New York gonna be the same after Sandy?

There have been massive damages in New York and New Jersey.

The reporters say the damages are gonna cost over 20 billion dollars, also the biggest transport buisness in the world is totally ruined, not to mention over 50 deaths.

So is New York gonna be the same, and if it is, when ? Soon or .. in a couple of years ? Or decades maybe ?

New York will be back in no time. They have been doing a great job at getting things back to normal.

Japan does it better though.

I swear over here in the UK we are the worst at getting things "back to normal". Nearly every year when it snows ice gets into cracks in the road, which causes potholes. Which means all the roads have to be resurfaced. Which takes a year.

Probably.

It was the same after 9/11 (which should really be called 11/9).

Side: Yes

It's called the 9/11 because the amercains do they do the date a different way round such as if it's 11th of septemebr with is 11/9 they say it septemebr the 11th which is 9/11

Trust me... Ax knows that, he's just being an Axx. ;)

Side: Yes

This is not the first major disaster to hit the big apple and the goverment appears to be responding very well, unlike what happened to new orleans after katrina.

Side: Yes

Maybe. New York plays an important role in maintaining the economy of America so it is fundamental that it be back to its knees otherwise it would mean a drawback of stocks and would lead to serious consequences.

Side: Yes

It is now 2015 and New York has made a remarkable recovery from "Sandy."

Depends if the government can be bothered instead of leaving them to rot like they did with New Orleans

Side: No

Depends if the government wants to do anything about it maybe if the government does then maybe it will be the same
