I don't believe it's bad but what are they gonna do when they're 35 and married they won't know what to do, or they'll be confused and embarrassed. I think they should experience around 20 but 13-16 is too young anything over 16 is okay i think. Side: Yes, the miss out on stuff
married they won't know what to do, or they'll be confused and embarrassed Thats the most ridiculous argument. There are hundreds of cultures that still live by this and they seem to be procreating just fine. They must have figured out what to do. Wonder how that happened? Plus, everyones first time is confusing regardless if they wait or not. Side: No, its best for everyone

Nobody should wait? Everyday like its your last? So at what age is sex OK? When someone is 11 should they decide to have sex because it could be their last day? Also, there are tons of people who are proud that they waited and would recommend that to anyone. Myself included. Side: No, its best for everyone
Abstinance is bad because it simply represses very natural feelings. Teens and young adults are hormonaly driven to do have sex and preaching abstinance only forces it underground, wich makes it much less safe. The urge to have sex is a force of nature, and learning to embrace that fact in society will make things easier for everyone. Teens and young adults should be educated in sex and be made aware of its risks and consequences. To say that the risks are too great young people, and they should not have sex at all is ignorant. It's like saying that since driving can be dangerous, young people must be kept in the dark about it so they don't get any ideas about driving and going out one day and causing an accident. The problem is that young people think about "driving" (sex) all the time and will eventually try it one day. How prepared they are to handle it depends on what kind of "driver's ed" (sex ed) that they have had. The world is much safer when everyone knows about driving (having sex), but those who think abstinence is best would rather see everyone driving blind and without a guide. The bottom line is that sex is natural and even healthy when exercised with care. It is human nature to not be abstinent, and preaching it only breeds ignorance and consequently more bad decisions. Sexual feelings are natural however, that is exactly what separates us from animals. We have minds that can overcome natural urges. Just because someone is for abstinence does not mean they want to keep teens in the dark. It is possible to educate a teen on sex and still preach abstinence. The bottom line is that sex is natural and even healthy when exercised with care. It is human nature to not be abstinent, and preaching it only breeds ignorance and consequently more bad decisions. This is simply untrue. There are many cultures that preach and practice abstinence and are very successful. Humans can overcome any urge because we have a mind like no other. Just look at the other arguments. They justify abstinence because they fear std's and pregnancy. Sure, you want to see these kids healthy and happy, but these are your fears, your insecurities. Let these teenagers decide how to run their own lives; after all it is THEIR lives. Its like saying kids shouldn't be let to ride bikes because they could fall off and we can't trust them to always wear a helmet. They need to wait until they are much older to learn how to do it right so they can be trusted. This is stupid; to expect kids to fear what you fear, to stop them from doing things that make them happy just to satisfy your insecurities. Side: Yes, the miss out on stuff

Depends how they will be able to cope with it. Teens, in fact are so young to know this idea however, in this age of time, they already have broad thinking. Side: No, its best for everyone
