Kinda seems like saying that all the people that come to your house are good all of the time. Yeah, sure, the people you invite and enter/leave your house respectfully are fine. But surely the people you invite that rape your wife, kill your kid, steal your things, etc are an issue, even if you invited them. And surely the people that are uninvited and break into your house and steal your shit are an issue. As for the people that break into your house and do your chores for you, sure they're good from a utilitarian perspective, but they still should have waited for an invitation; breaking in is in itself a crime. You must realise that if you advocate for socialist programs, the requirement of having a border is far more important in order to prevent people from taking advantage of them while they don't contribute to sustaining public welfare. You can't just give everyone free stuff, especially other people's stuff, if not on moral grounds then on the reality that you run out of stuff. Side: No

I don't think you've gotten the message that you're the primary one saying stupid things about immigration. If that person wants to move to the country in which you live and just so happens to want to live in your house, they're still seeking their own life and their own freedom. Something that you supposedly support, despite how little you know about the concept of borders, boundaries, and national sovereignty. - If you don't believe in boundaries, or even the simple concept of having borders remain closed in this manner. Then how can you expect someone to respect the concept of you having your own home, and not attempting to take it from you. Hell given the political climate, we've seen the government move American citizens from their own living areas in places like New Mexico and use it for the housing of newer immigrants. So at any moment the government could just say fuck you, and toss you out of your own home. Despite how rare of an instance this might be. - You're also forgetting that these people are looking for new lives and new opportunities. Which means they will take such a job as smuggling, because it will get them the money that they require for that new life. So they are still immigrating here to the states, despite committing a crime in the process. Side: No
