Is being an Apple fan its own religion now?

A recent study by the BBC show Secrets of the Superbrands has made an interesting discovery. The study took volunteers from a crowd of Apple fans at a London product launch. These volunteers were given MRI scans by a neuroscientists, who noted an interesting anomaly: the frenzy of Apple adoration and marketing were actually stimulating the same parts of the brain stimulated by religion.

Well Joe, While I am not a Mac head, I do love my iPad...as well as my iPod and my kids iPod touch. I have lined up (for the iPad 1 and 2). But I do not consider myself an Apple worshiper. On the other hand, I could see how having long lines of people standing for hours in front of building on a rainy day could make you think there was something really important going on...or a free giveaway! So, I could understand that religion and Apple would stimulate the same parts of the brain. 735 days ago | Side: MacHeads are zealots
