Once people start working from a young age, they typically find it hard to develop the skills they need to excel in non-labour jobs in the future. You need education to develop skills which are necessary to the development of nations.

I also find it someone amusing/disturbing that the ban of child labour in the US & UK in the 1800s was claimed to be an attack on the free market. Just shows you how much perspectives has changed.

those were some awesome threads and they stayed in good condition for a long time

to my mind it is not good idea, because the main idea which should be reached by young generation is getting knowledge. of course they can work now but they lose such priceless time. with education it will much easier to find good-paid job in the future than without it

For those for it how would you feel if you had to make nike shoes for 83 cents a day and then paying for the stuff like food homes and other stuff that it gives you. See the laborer's side before you say anything! I see children upset but I don't know for sure but this is what I believe

Child labor is bad because it is abuse and countries that engage in it should have sanctions levied.
