Should cloning be allowed?

Cloning has many sides. It can help save your life, but it is really expensive. If you clone an animal then it will suffer for life, and can die miserably. You can also clone an individual cell of organ to help someone with an diseased one. Mothers that are cloned suffer many infertility problems. It is helping for scientific and genetic advancements. What do you think of cloning?

I believe there have to be limitations with it. Perhaps it's my own personal discomfort at the thought of cloning people, however I see a great deal of benefit to cloning parts like kidneys or a heart that is genetically compatible to the person needing it. If such a thing can be done without a living host body, such as an artificial host , it could extend or greatly improve upon the lives of those who need it.

Yeah, sure, why not? Kamino worked out just fine anyways.

I can definitely see the arguments against it and the issues it leads to, however, I think that continued research on cloning would be extremely useful. I see it being very helpful in the medical field; particularly for malfunctioning organs. I will say that there are a lot of potential dangers that could arise, so it would have to be very carefully monitored.

With improvements in genetic engineering, the shortcomings of cloning can be outdone, and once that happens, it'll surely be a very benefiting aspect in medical sciences.

I thought someone named God does that......................................................

Well, you thought wrong. God is a myth with no evidence behind it. Humans can clone things now (ever heard of Dolly the Sheep?), but it's morally wrong. If you found out you were a clone of somebody else, how would you react?

You can say that God is a myth, along with your beliefs that you think disprove God, but do you account for the possibility that a higher being could exist in this universe? Even if he/she/it hasn't shown themself?

Finding out that I was cloned using someone else's genetic material would not, in and of itself, phase me at all.Why should it?
