Is feminism over rated?
All over the interenet, females post comments on things for which the find "sexist", are the exagerating or do they have a point.

I am a female. Although a lot of the times females do have a point, I personally feel that many times, it is overrated. Females tend to bring a lot of memories from the past to support their current point, whether it relates to the topic or not. Another thing is that a not meant to be sexist comment can get so much hate, but, in fact, the person who said it hasn't even thought of it in that way. In other words, females have a very special way of looking at things. Side: Yes

A lot of the times people do have a point, but I personally think that most times that point is invalid. This is hardly unique to women/feminists, and certainly does not pertain to the validity of the concept of feminism at large. Assuming your unfounded generalization is accurate, this still has no bearing on the validity of feminism as a concept at large. Ignorant sexism is still sexism, though arguably it should be treated differently than deliberate sexism. In other words, females have a very special way of looking at things. I'm a female and I support feminism whole heartedly. But it's true that nowadays the word 'feminism' is used much too liberally without so much of a second thought. I feel that feminism is very important in today's society, but only when the term is being used appropriately. Side: Yes
