Is it Democracy if your party wins every time?

Hello w:

Winning or losing isn't a measure of democracy.. It's whether the election was fair.

There was no Democracy, and NO FAIRNESS, when every American lost their voice in each State to determine their own marriage laws!

Would you be ok with the Supreme court forcing every State to allow marriage between Adults and consenting children, against the people's will?

How about forcing all States to allow men having 30 wives, no matter what the people wanted?

I guess you call a couple activist Judges deciding State laws as a Democracy.

Like having voter ID to make sure noncitizens don't vote, or taking a census with a question that helps determine how many representatives your area gets?

Hmmm... A possible 30 million extra people to delegate representatives to that shouldn't be counted. My oh my, how that would change the Congress, eh Con?

But let's cut the crap Con. No one believes a census question is racist. Democrats simply need those sanctuary cities loaded with illegals to help them get as many representatives as possible, and if too many people knew, they'd look like dishonest dog shit and probably not get re-elected.

Yes, if the majority of the electorate repeatedly votes the same political party into power, then regardless of the repetitive nature of the vote it is democratic.

The danger is that there could be be a section of people among those who feel their voice is not being heard and may therefore, through frustration try to establish their political dogma by undemocratic methods.

If civil unrest is generated by one party being continually elected into government a form of power sharing whereby the senior politicians of the opposition party can fill certain key governmental positions could, and probably would help to make everyone feel part of the decision making process.

So the Iraqi elections were Democratic? The ones where Saddam Hussein consistently won 100 percent of the vote?

Oh look at the imbecile squirm as he tries to backtrack his way out of this one.

Hi Nom, How to the hell are you?

Have you checked under your bed for Nazis lately?

Did you see Adolf Hitler reading the news and Herr Bronto giving the weather forecast on television this morning?

Are you munching on one of those Fruit & Nut chocolate bars again?
