This is what's called 'disinformation' which is intentionally false or misleading information that is spread in a calculated way with the purpose of confusing the enemy. A classic example of ''disinformation' was ''Operation Fortitude'', in 1944 as part of the allied nations overall deception strategy during the build up to the Normandy landings. ''Operation Fortitude'' had the vast majority of the German military positioned in Pas de Calais where as a result of elaborate ''disinformation'' they expected the allied invasion to target. In the event of course the allied invasion force successfully, ( but with shocking loss of life) hit the Normandy beaches and the rest is history. All nations engage in this 'disinformation' strategy. The Russians call it Maskirovka,( military deception) to refer to a combination of tactics including 'misinformation'. 1)I don't watch Fox News or even care. 2)The mainstream.media isn't a "reliable source". They ignored the Syrian war for years. It started in early 2011. And they claimed that "looking at wikileaks was illegal". Which is a lie. Want proof? I have it. 3)Obama sniffed at WWIII like a mantra. There are no "reliable news sources". CBS, which is the closest thing to not being a propaganda machine that the left has, didn't show pictures of Syrian kids until 5 years after it had been happening. I had to watch the Syrian conflict happen on foreign news on Youtube channels. Otherwise I'd have never have even known Syria was at war. So tell CNN and the liberal news outlets to stick their full blown hypocrite thumbs up their preverbial asses. Side: Yeah, we be BAD
