Is it better to study in a US university or in the best university of your own country?

A lot of students from all over the world enter American universities as they want to visit it or maybe even stay here. Often those are not so good universities as to enter the best is very hard for foreigners. Many other students prefer to stay in their country and graduate from that university that is prestigious in the region so they can get a job easier. So what's better?

Well I don't think the education we receive from the US school system is worth the name, some of the UCs around here are pretty crackin, and I highly recommend them to anyone trying to have a good time. =D

In my opinion, it's better to graduate from a university of your country, than from any university abroad. Quality of education is not always good. Of course, you might enter Harward, Tsinghua or Seoul National University but that's not so easy, so probably you will not. And I guess there are many good universities all over the world, so most of peoples don't have to go abroad to get some better knowledge. Moreover, some countries don't admit degrees taken abroad, so if I graduated from Yelle I would have to take bachelor degree later in my own country in order to have opportunity to work.

British Universities are better. Because we had them first.

Well, in my opinion, it's better to study in the best university of your country, than in any university of the USA. Because you should make a choice based on the knowledge given in the university, not the country. After graduation it would be much easier to find a good job because your university would be known as the best university in your country, and the employers would be sure about your aptitude. And an unknown university, even if it is in the USA, will make the employers hesitate.

I think it's better to study in the best university of your own country! Because according to all ratings it is the best one based on the education and employment rating of students after graduation. You would be sure that you will find a good job after universit. Another point is that education and your living expenses are less than you are in abroad. Also if at the age of 17 you finish school and go to study to another city, it is difficult even in your country to live responsively alone, in abroad where everybody speaks another language and you don't have any aquaintances, it is more difficult to adapt.

Of course it is good to study in US universities, during college years you will have a lot of fun and opportunities to show yourself, but it is only for college years. What about after?! I think with American college diploma you will have some problems in your country, I mean in order to get a good job in my country I have to have diploma from one of the best universities in my country. Additional diplomas are good, but your country's is the best. Also I have studied in US high school for a year and I don't agree with a given education over there. It is too easy to study there. People have to study hard. There are a lot of universities in US that don't provide students with good enough education, but they pay for it pretty much the same as in their own country. The only reason they stay in states is that they is the system of education, not quality. We all know that in US universities requirements for students l less than in our countries. Generally, I would prefer to stay in my own country and get a high education and pay less for it=)

It depends on a special case. If the best university in you country is still worse than a university in the USA, which you have already chosen, then it's better to study in the USA. For example, I live in Kazakhstan and the best our university can't be compared with a good university in the USA.
