You are the worst kind of theist. You are making the assumption that God exists out of ignorance and asserting that those who specifically DON'T believe things they are ignorant of because that's what science and skepticism mean in the first place (to not just blindly believe things unless there is sufficient evidence) are the ones who are simply assuming their beliefs are true based on nothing.

I don't think it is. But I do think we need to adjust our thinking on the word ignorance. It's not necessarily a bad thing. It's when someone is intentionally ignorant that there is a problem. We are all ignorant on something or another, but there is information out there to do research and assuage our desire to become less so. It's when -no matter what evidence points to the contrary, no matter how many people point out obvious mistakes that can be proven wrong- one digs their head in the sand and refuses to consider the possibility that they are wrong, that they become intentionally ignorant.

It IS hilarious that you believe YOU know what atheists think. As an atheist I think your thoughts are .... hilarious.

If it was hillarious then you'd enjoy your conversations with them. Instead you just get pissed off. And you get pissed off because they make pretty good arguments back at you, and all you can really do about that is threaten them with hell and mock them like you were a child.

thats just a basic law of logic, in mathematics (and science in general) you have to PROVE something to be true, you cant just say "look at the trees, dont they seem created" or give a theoretical model...

if i tell you unicorns exist will you just believe me? or will you ask for evidence to back up that assertion? will you just believe anything without proof? how do you check what's true and what isn't?
