You know what's really cool? When you show up to your ten year high school reunion in a helicopter and you see the "cool kids" from ten years ago and you say, "Are you still driving that old thing?" ;)

You know, its a lot cooler making a lot of money doing a career you are hopefully enjoying than flipping burgers at Burger King for minimum wage because you thought you were 'too cool' to get an education.

It's always been cool to be smart, at least in my world. I can't stand being around idiots, and there's no way that I can respect people who don't even make an effort to gain knowledge.

Actually geeky is cool because majority of our school are geeks and when I say geeks i mean dorky glasses and sweaters. But they are the dominating social groups. verybody wants to be in with them.

Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Warren Buffett (probably), Mark Zuckerberg. All of them were nerds at school. Now all of them are billionaires, in charge of multi-national companies, as well as thousands of workers. The more you learn, the better you get at it. The better you are at learning, the quicker you can adapt. The quicker you can adapt to different situations, the more likelihood you have of succeeding.

Yes, Nerd is the new cool. People with straight A's are becoming more popular and respecting.

It is always cool to be educated (smart). Without education, the world wouldnt function correctly. There has to be some smart people in it. :)

I think it was always cool to be smart but never cool to be a nerd or a geek! Smart is cool, man!!!

I think these days it's cool to be smart not only do you have a big future ahead of you (depending on how you put your brains to use) but girls find smart guys alot more attractive when they are smart well i do and i know alot of girls that do.. But not only that a smart woman is also very attractive girls that pretend to be dumb to get attention are tools. But all in all i'd agree it's cool to be smart.. but the glasses not so much..

Yes because if your smart then you could know more about the subject they are talking about to other peopler they will know about the certain stuff they are talking about

it is cool to be smart because every one are given respect if they are educated. if you are educated you can be smart.
