Is it really divine to forgive? And where would you draw the line?

Is the statement "To err is human, to forgive is divine" an adage you  believe in?

Add New Argument

Humans are finite creatures. Any crime we commit is absolutely puny and insignificant to an infinite god. For him not to forgive is in itself an imperfect action.

You can't forgive someone who doesn't want your forgiveness.

And if they do but you aren't 100% ready to forgive, is it best to try?

Yes, it is divine to forgive.

But ironically, it's also divine to smite.

Much like God, you draw the line wherever you damn well please to draw it.
