No actually, I was about to start a debate about if there was something wrong with my arguments in general. Because no matter WHAT side I'm on, I've tried everything. Fore abortion, against abortion, supporting homosexuals, not supporting homosexuals. God's side or the atheist side. NO MATTER WHAT SIDE I'M ON... the disputes seem to be bigger on my argument than on the others. So it must be something wrong with them. And I hardly get any supportives Well, I was just asking for clarification so I'm not sure why you 'disputed me? But anywho: Listen Birggy, I don't hang on all those religious debates like you do but you shouldn't concern yourself with how many disputes you get or how little support you receive. Just post what you believe and back it up with facts as best you can. Personally I think you do a great job considering English isn't your first language. I would'nt worry about it whatever side your on people are gonna argue with you that's a good sign even if they disagree at least they think your argument is worth debating, who cares if you get voted down or you dont often get supportive arguments I dont let stuff like that bother me. 2

Is stating it as "something about you that is wrong" instead of "Is there something wrong with me" an attempt to separate yourself from negative feedback? Do you often feel when you walk in a room, that the attention is on you even if it not? Or perhaps you are convinced it is on you? When you hear people laugh, do you ever get a sneaking suspicion they are really laughing at you? ... Just kidding :p I don't know who you are and don't recall a debate you've ever had ;) Your posted argument clarifies it a bit. My guess is you just have holes in your arguments. This would explain why regardless of the side you take people reply with disputes. You probably make it easy. If it bothers you study up on logic and rules of debate. I wouldn't worry about it too much This. Study up on logic and common debate rules. Learn how an argument is properly defended, and learn how an argument can defeat another argument. Learn about why facts work, and how to find the right facts. Saying something doesn't make it true, or a valid opinion. You need to say why. One might say "Abortion is wrong." That's an opinion that has no reason behind it. Add a bit more, "Abortion is wrong because all life is precious.", and you get something more solid, but still defeatable by opposition. Give even more, such as "Abortion is wrong because late term fetuses can feel pain, because zygotes and fetuses are human fetuses, which according to established law makes abortion closer to murder, and because the fetus has no choice in the matter." Then you have a much stronger case, built on several levels of explanations. If an explanation is proven wrong, it would make you look bad to stick with it, so if you cannot prove yourself correct, perhaps your reasoning is not very strong, and it would make sense to change your opinion. 2
