Is it worrisome that Donald Trump's businesses benefit from his upcoming presidency?

The question above is supported by some far fetched arguments like; What if someone attacks a trump Tower - is that an attack on Trump's business or America?   We are also seeing that countries are doing favors from Trump, and is it okay for a president to welcome favors for his business that his presidency/nation might pay back? Is it worrisome that the American people now have a president that runs a business on the side, which takes focus from national interest, but also is a disappointment for his voters, who wanted America do be run like a business, and not for a business?

Providing public perks for private gain was a big red mark against Clinton. The intellectually honest will see it as a big red mark against Trump as well.

Bad political acts don't become good when you like the person doing it. There's still time for him to distance himself from this problem. His voters should demand it.

When did you become concerned about the Constitution ? Was it just recently ?

What did you expect?

He literally was as obvious about corruption as a guy can be. Hillary was much more subtle.

I don't know yet. He isn't yet sworn in. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until he screws up.

But would I be surprised if he makes a windfall from this? Not at all.

Unless you were speaking out on Hillary's conflict of interest with the Clinton foundation when she was secretary of state, PLEASE SPARE US ALL YOUR HYPOCRISY.

Opposing Trump does not equal supporting Hillary. You can expect and demand more from a president than simply not being as bad as one other person.

LOL, is there a liberal on this planet that would ever admit his double standard and hypocrisy.

I'm not so blind to not admit it happens on both sides, but there are always so many more scandals when Liberals are in office.

Yes, there was an apparent conflict of interest with the Clinton Foundation. Is there not with Trump's businesses?

Which you did. So I assume that you're speaking out against his business benefit from his upcoming presidency so that you'll spare us all your hypocrisy?

I'm not the hypocrite because there is no conflict of interest SINCE TRUMP IS NOT EVEN IN OFFICE YET!

There are no political scandals as with the Clinton's. Until there are, this hypocrite is complaining about something that has not even happened, but never spoke out about Hillary's scandals and corruptions.

Businesses are very well entrenched in Federal Government on both sides of the aisle. Politicians enrich themselves from private business that they receive donations from so is it worrisome to you that politicians benefit from their position in Government ?
