I'll post on this side just because the first three posts in the discussion are on the other side and I don't want to seem to be in agreement with that crowd. The creator of this debate deserves no credit at all, only God deserves the credit for giving this proud debate creator the ability to type (or use speak and spell or whatever). Anybody who thinks they deserve the credit for things they are able to do is just plain arrogant. Side: Yes it's wrong

Let's say for argument's sake that God exists. He could have given the girl no talent, thus the conversation never even happens, null and void. If someone gets on stage and rocks it, and God literally designed the person's ability, it'd be the equivalent of not recognizing a car's engineers and builders but recognizing the car alone. Side: No it's ok
I'm really of two minds on this. I think there always need to be credit to the human's accomplishments where it's due. That said, if my child was very sick and a doctor was able to heal her, I would thank both the doctor and God for sending the doctor to me. There are times where people ONLY thank God and I feel like that's a little insulting to the person who put forth the effort to either be so great at something or help another. It diminishes, in a way, that individuals hard work. Maybe my response should be over on the other side, but personally I thank the helper and God. Side: No it's ok
People can express their opinion about anything they want. It doesn't make them right. But you can't flat out say it's wrong for them to give God credit when that's their freedom of thought and freedom of speech being exercised. What I do think is ironic, however, is that God gets credit when there's something good but if anything bad happens then it's either the individual's fault or it's Satan's. God only gets brought up if it's good press, not bad press. Side: No it's ok
