As long as it is fun for anyone, which I'm sure it is, the answer must be yes. Unless you just wanted everyones opinion about how they feel. If so, it's not a debate, its a poll.

Additionally, I find it fun to do it virtually. If I had a good reason to, I think I could get into it, and have some fun.

I think we can all agree that sniping your friend with a head shot in Golden Eye was pretty damn satisfying.

Killing my own kind would weaken my species.

Except maybe in cases where it makes my species stronger by culling the individuals with serious problems. But that wouldn't make it fun.

Your genes don't work on a group level, they're out for themselves. If killing a few people increases your chances of securing the water hole which in turn increases your chances of finding a mate, rewards for killing may manifest as uplifting chemical releases.

Killing is murder, which is sick and wrong.

That doesn't mean it isn't fun, that just makes it undesirable and morally depraved. Sure, everyone wants to stop that heinous mass-murderer, but what if our boy Jason is just out having a night on the town? Those victimized might not find it fun, but the killer might see murdering the masses as a funfair. If you don't think it's fun, that's you, but if someone does find killing others amusing, then yes, killing can be fun.
