It depends on the contextual nature of the question. 'Fair' is defined as an action or event being 'in accordance with the rules or standards'; given that the creation of life corresponds with that definition, as nature impartially governs our biological system, then yes life is fair--or at least the non-doctored generation of life is fair. As for the events following the bio-generational process: No intellectually honest person can justly render a generalized answer. I may conclude that it was fair that I was admitted into Harvard based on my productions and scholarly achievements; conversely, someone else who has done more but lacked the recommendations that I had may conclude otherwise. However, no rule was broken, and no standard negated, so by definition the admission process was fair, yet you can see how problematic the definition seems since the other person certainly expresses more potential and would therefore be a better selection. There are many things in life which are unfair but that's true no matter what species you are. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes you eat, sometimes you're food. Whether or not you believe religion about it is up to you, but even if you do believe God has a hand in it more likely or not you're going to experience both setbacks and successes. Side: Unfair

God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. People reject God because light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. Side: Not at all
They reject it because it sounds far fetched im not saying that christianity is fake but im saying have you ever just thought to yourself and said this sounds a bit fake I mean the bible was made by man and I dont know if you know this but man tends to lie for power and greed just look at history. Side: Unfair
They reject the gospel because if they believe, it implies they will have to obey God and they are not happy to do that because, like you, they love their sin more than life and don't want God telling them what they should or should not do....so, like you, they set up a wall in their mind thinking they can hide behind it and God cannot see them in their sins and they don't have to fear Him....and the Bible says they are fools. But you are a nice guy and I appreciate that. Side: Not at all

Life is hard. that doesn't make it unfair. it has challenges. but that doesn't make it less worthwhile - And birth defects are usually factorial. like genetics. I may very well be a carrier of the genes that create pyloric stenosis. that does not make life any less fair for me. My genes contain increased likelihood of diabetes in my later years. - Personally, I just say I'm playing the game of life in hard mode. that's what morals do to us, don't they? Side: Not at all
Life is more than we deserve, it's a gift we do not deserve. Blaming God for the evil in the world will only cause personal hopelessness to fester. It's not fair that we have better than we deserve, we deserve nothing good and all deserve to die. No, life is not fair. If it were fair, we would all be burning in Hell now. Side: Not at all
