A duality can't exist without the opposite to compare it to. The concept of light wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the concept of dark. Tall/short, fast/slow. They have to be SOMETHING in relation to SOMETHING ELSE. If everything was the same speed there would be no such thing as fast or slow. But that being said, since it's a relative term. My definition of fast will differ from other people's as I may be faster or slower than other people. Same with good. Some would say it's good to win the powerball, others would say it's good to not be materialistic to begin with.
