CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.

I think it is, actually. Have you ever tried to have sex when you weren't particularly excited or in the mood? It's generally a let down.
It's far better when you're far more wound up already. I think the sex drive is largely comparable to hunger- When one is very hungry, even relatively bland food is extremely appealing, but when one is not hungry, the 'bar' for good food is considerably higher.
Because of that, it's often said that 'hunger is the best spice.' By extension, I'd say 'horniness is the best aphrodisiac' if that wasn't completely obvious.
That said, as far as overrated things go, it's pretty well up there, and the sex drive is far stronger than any attempt at rating things objectively :P
Who needs sex when you can wank off to your creatdebate score eh? Although yours is very low. I guess you don't want to get banned again for point farming.
I can't really be arsed stroking your ego by writing a long list about how the way you act is like before. It is obvious. I don't give a shit though. I was just mildly curious when you're going to start point farming for your sexual jollies again.
Yes, but first you have to get it out of your system. I mean, you have to fuck your brains out for decades before you finally realize, yeah..., it's over rated. But even then, every once in a while you have to get laid just to remind yourself that..., yeah, it's over rated. And then you're like, "Well..., lets just try it one more time..., just to make sure..." ;)
Yes, but only because it is so extremely highrated... Nothing should be praised the way sex is. Sex can be meaningful and a contributer to happiness, but culture portrays sex as necessary for happiness which is simply untrue. Litterally, sex is portrayed like it's the meaning of life. If that were the case I'd expect that sex a positive impact on baseline happiness. It does not, it's simply a temporary high that doesn't really contribute to long term happiness. It can be a means to an end, but that doesn't make sex inherently good, nor does it exclude the existence of other tools to the same end.
I think that sex should be something special between a couple, although I am aware, this is not the normal value of today's society. People might even call me 'old-fashioned' in fact I am far from it and if I am that, what makes 'modern' beliefs and values Predominantly better?
Yes, sitcom after sitcom will have you believing you are nerd if you are still a virgin before falling in love. Do you realize how many people are living off welfare because of sex? When people choose to sleep around, having one night stands, etc, & then they get pregnant, don't come running to me to get bailed out on welfare. It's your choice, live by it!
Sex is over rated, only if you rate it too highly, if your first time is with a hooker, or if you've done it way too many times.
First time with someone you've known for a while and have intimate feelings for, no one can convey, even from personal experiences, quite what its like.
I don't see how could it be overrated. It's important and enjoyable, I'd actually say it's underrated by the "rules" people make up of how it should be to be good and enjoyable when it's good enough without making it so complex and complicated.
