No. The entire race is not evil. While many humans are, to generalize like this is very scandalous.

If you want to get technical, evil is a bullshit concept made by the human race anyways, and applies to whatever we want it to, as long as we can convince other people that it's right.

But no, the human race isn't inherently evil. There is a burden that goes with our level of awareness, though. The ability to make and rationalize fears that most other animals never think about pervades our entire species. These fears that we conjure up out of thin air can drive us to do moronic and harmful things, build unnecessary barriers, isolate others, incite hysteria, create dogmas, feign righteousness, develop greed and pride, and ultimately, incubate something we'd see evil.

But it's not like we can't combat fear. It's not like we can't choose to seek rational explanations and empathy before we jump to conclusions. It's just that sometimes, nobody is around to end the cycle.

As a whole, no. But how a human was raised defines his or her morals.

Any race that could create morality and the concept of evil cannot be completely evil.
