I am enlisted into the Marines and yes they are the best. One simple fact: If you are a Marine first you can enlist into every other branch without going through their bootcamp, but if you are Army, Navy, or Airforce first and decide to join the Marines you have to go through Marine bootcamp. Look the Marines are the best because its a mentality. Obviously you Depper have no clue what you're talking about because you're not even in the Service. I on the other hand have spent time in two separate branches and one of them not even being the Marine Corps and I can tell you without out a shadow of a doubt hands down the Marines are the most fit to fight, the most brutal, and the toughest. Marines are not stupid, do you know the ASVAB scores for most combat jobs aren't that low? Special Forces jobs even here in the Army are like 110, the same as an office. I've been in both the Navy and the Army and have deployed to Afghanistan and can tell you this, that they are the best because they are trained to be that way and think that way. It is in their confidence and their demeanor, they are born to kill the enemy and hurt feelings. The Air Force, the branch you are enlisting on the other hand is more for logistical support and are not used for combat heavily while the Navy and the Marines provide a much better job at aerial attacks due to being able to go around the world from the sea. Every branch has its jobs but the Marines are the superior combat force because they accept less people than all other branches and don't have as many people who are over weight and unfit like the Army. They are essentially high speed infantry that can deploy and fight on any terrain. In the Marines you are not going to have all the time in the world at home for your family as you will be deployed. No I am not in the Army, I am in the United States Air Force E-3 currently in the DEP. The Marines have the toughest boot camp out of any of the other branches. That doesn't make the Marines the best branch, not even the best at push ups. The Marines are the strongest both mentally and physically. That is a biased misconception. I could say the same for my branch or any other branch, and it would still hold the same level of credibility. Side: No

Really? Who fought in the war that lead to the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima? Was it just the Marines? So the Marines guard the white house, and that makes them by definition the best branch huh? Who are the first responders? Depends on the situation and even if they are the first branch on land they didn't get there by themselves. Try having some respect for all of the men and women who serve their damn country, instead of putting on a little biased show to prove your branch is the best (all your reasons prove absolutely nothing by the way) why don't you just give equal credibility to all of the branches whom serve and are ready to die for their country. The very notion that one fighting branch of a military can be better or more important than another is ridiculous. The marine core would be mostly useless in aerial combat, long range bombardments, large scale tank battles, naval engagements, special-forces operations &c;. A good general realises that for every branch, there is a role to which it is suited. Side: No
