Such blatant elitism. You're also being immature, especially when you called us morons. I mean, really? The US is home to some of the greatest mind to ever grace the past 300 years. We have some of the most advanced and bustling metropolitan cities that have ever been on this planet. Oh yeah, and you have that thing.. what was it? Oh yeah, a state religion! Wow... dat progressiveness. 324 days ago | Side: Yessss

Please don't insult me. I can play that game, too. Also, fix your grammatical issues before trying to form a true cognitive thought on something. You're absolutely right about the whole Britain thing. England has a state religion. Not Great Britain. My bad! Anyways, about the whole progressiveness competition, let's simple look at the facts. - America has "In God We Trust" on its dollar bills and coins and whatnot. - America lacks a state religion that is publicly funded. - England has a state religion and a monarch. Both of which bring up ideas ancient times where rights were restricted heavily and brutally. 323 days ago | Side: Yessss

I don't know a single American that does know about the role the French played in our Revolution and we probably would have still won without them, it would have just taken a lot longer and we would have lost a lot more lives. The Brits were just spread too thin across the world... they had to let something go. 322 days ago | Side: Yessss

You jump to a lot of conclusions with no evidence. First, you assume I think America won the war on their when I never said that and now you assume that I think the UK is America's sidekick when I never actually said that.... I didn't answer this debate, I simply replied to those who did. Get your facts straight before you post. 322 days ago | Side: Yessss

Sidekick in what? You are aware that not everyone in the world looks at America as some kind of glowing paradise of excellence aren't you? There are hundreds of other countries besides you. In fact, right now, a lot of people are very worried about America, what with half the population of the US being religious fanatics and or uneducated morons, and the majority of people hating generosity. In fact, America has been Britain's sidekick more I should think, during the world war one and two. And let's not forget, America was founded by Britain in the first place, you are just the British people who won independence from other British people, who were us. However, Tony Blair the old PM (Penis Muncher) did decide to start bumming Bush during the Iraq war, but again, public opinion was strongly against the war, it was those corrupt baby eating politicians that did it. Please don't get the wrong idea, however. I am not a nationalist, and I'm not even patriotic, I view both as being dangerous, I'm just trying to dispel the idea that America are the best country ever and they won world war two all by themselves with their bare hands. 324 days ago | Side: Noooo

Take your unjustified anti Britishness somewhere else. I'm not anti American, I'm not anti anyone based on the accident of birth. It's a fact that half the population of America are creationists, and this means there is clearly something wrong there. I don't hate American people, but I hate the way America is being run. I despise the exploitation of the poor, and the denial of proper education to children. Britain, as I said, is also still stuck in the shitter with those bloody Tories in power. I'm moving to a nice country like Sweden or something. 324 days ago | Side: Noooo

What is it like 46% of Americans who are creationist? That's what I'm referring to. To be a creationist you have to be either stupid, brainwashed, or a liar. And as regards to generosity, one of the main political parties is the Republicans, who basically want to get the country as capitalist as possible by denying the poor and sick free healthcare and education etc etc. 324 days ago | Side: Noooo

The United Kingdom is too awesome to be anybody's sidekick. If you need more convincing, click the link below. 2

Oh geez. I like to poke fun at a lot of things, the UK being one of them, but you're trolling should at least contain some shed of substantial truth to it. This just seems like you're trying to give British nationalists (namely Micmacmoc and Axmeister) a brain hemorrhage. 324 days ago | Side: Noooo
"We threw the father aside 236 years ago because he was a prick. since then he has come crawling back, just because the son became something the father wished he still was, if the son can kick the father's ass then the father is the sidekick" This is the crazy delusion that many american nationalists fuel themselves with. 324 days ago | Side: Noooo

Tony Blair tried to turn Britain into America's sidekick but that was because he was Bush's lap dog, Obama has made clear he does'nt like Britain so good luck to him. Britain and America are allies and America needed Britain in the 80's to help their "battle" against Communism and now to support them in the Middle East and unless your Native American your just living on stolen land anyway 323 days ago | Side: Noooo
You're not doing much to change people's minds about American intelligence (although I dont think the majority of Americans are Morons but there are a lot out there), you say that America is home to some of the greatest minds of the pas 300 years but when you compare the size of your population to the size of Britains population I think you will find the two countries are probably at least on a par with creating genius'. I have pointed out to you at least twice but either you are just ignoring the truth or your brain cant comprehend this so I shall try again, Britain does not have a State Religion (Britain is made up of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland), the only "state" religion is the Church Of England, as the name suggests this only covers England and you dont have to be a member as Britain has freedom of Religion and it's citizens are free to practice whichever Religion they choose (obviously as long as no laws are broken), the only person required by law to be a member of this Church is the Monarch (at the moment the Queen). I hope this has finally sunk in because it does get boring having to point out the same thing over and over and by the way you say Britain when compared to America is not progressive because of the Church Of England, wow a bold statement when America has "One Nation under God" in its pledge of allegiance and "In God We Trust" printed on its money!! That is sooo progressive when compared to Britains multi faith, multi cultural community. Oh and did'nt you guys still have Slaves after Slavery had been aboished in Britain? 323 days ago | Side: Noooo
England has a State Religion and it is a citizens choice to become part of that or not so if you believe or follow another religion you can without having God forced upon you. America's Pledge Of Allegiance has "In God We Trust" which if my facts are right you have to take the pledge to become a citizen, this is insulting to anyone who has a differing view to God who wants to become a citizen. Also America has "In God We Trust" printed on the money which again is insulting if this is not your view. Basically an Atheist has God forced upon them every time they buy a cup of coffee no wonder so many of them are angry Britain has the NHS which has been in place for many years so everyone in Britain regardless of race, religion or wealth gets free health care. America does not have this if you cannot afford health insurance or healthcare the Hospitals show you the door, hardly progressive Your right in ancient times Monarch's might have restricted rights and yes this would have been done heavily and brutally but that was in ancient times, the modern monarch does a lot of charity work and does not restrict British citizens rights in any way apart from the .62p a year each person has to pay in tax's to keep the Royal Family (they bring in more than this in Tourism each year). When we compare this to America who in not so ancient times heavily and brutally restricted the rights of Mexicans, Native Americans and Blacks. I'm sorry America is not as progressive as you think and not as progressive as Britain 322 days ago | Side: Noooo
