Is the United States an evil, corrupt, imperialistic nation

The US is something called a HEGEMON. Unipolar HEGEMONY (the US is the HEGEMON now) is when one country is the military, economic, and political leader of the world. What's the problem? Hegemony causes racism and leads to threat construction between countries, leading to wars caused by trigger happy communists or terrorists. Does that make the US evil? Not necessarily, but it is leading to some pretty serious s* in the world.

The U.S. is the merely the sum of its' representatives; What are its' Congressman and Senators? I rest my case.

Yes the United States is an evil corrupt country. It's led by greed and narcissism, and the number one thing is it's turned it's back on God. Anything without God is evil, that simple.

Russia is a backwards, third world, country ;)

The United States is this an overindulgent nation that takes resources from poor nations just to keep their citizens' unsustainable affluence last a little bit longer.

Side: Yes the US is EVIL

I don't see the problem with that ;)

We may do some "evil" stuff but our foundations are pure good. We believe in freedom of the people. Education. Equality. That can't be all evil can it? Are we corrupt? I don't think so. We vote on who we want in office and the electoral colledge usually agrees with the popular vote. Imperialistic? Unless I am wrong, The Monroe Doctrine stated that the United States is against imperialism. So, I am sure that we are none of the above

As Tufts professor Michael Beckley points out, the U.S. now “formally guarantees the security of more than 50 countries,” which means the U.S. has more allies in the world than at any time in its history. More broadly, war between nation states has been incredibly rare since 1945. Europe is the most obvious beneficiary of Pax Americana: Before today, the last time the Rhine had gone this long without being crossed by armies with hostile intent was more than 2,000 years ago, according to economic historian Brad DeLong. The painful and often violent process of building independent nation states out of colonies was often stoked into civil war by the competing powers of the Cold War. But with the decline of that global struggle, and the growing legitimacy of the new countries, even civil wars are on the wane.

The whole world is evil, there is no saintly nation, not even Russia. It's this damn love for money that gets us, the whole world wants the green, but not the love, not the God, and not the purity. There is no nation in the world that isn't corrupt, you dont know what countries are hiding from their citizens, the USSR was evil, they werent exactly "angels". But you cannot assume that the US is the "evil" nation on this earth. "In God We Trust".

In the general sense, no, America is benevolent, yet it has evil tendencies.
