Is the individual mandate in the health care bill unconstitutional?
"There's no case suggesting that the individual mandate the Democrats seek in their health care legislation is constitutional. Pelosi and the president have both sworn to support and defend the Constitution. The oaths they took do not grant them a right to do what they please, or even what they think is right. It is to do only what the Constitution allows them to do."

BTW, individual mandate means that the government will fine you if you do not get insurance. http://www.healthcareforartists.org/ So..., you still want national health care ;) 16 days ago | Tagged As: yes
I don't pass judgment as to how good or how bad it is. I'm more like..., is this thing going to fly? And then I take the side that I think is going to win out. For example, I never cheer for a team until I'm sure which one is going to win. Then I cheer for the winner. This way I never feel like I've lost ;) The people do not seem to want national health care. They also don't seem to want gay marriage (but that's another debate). The trick now is to find ways around those hurdles. Currently, I don't see a way around the national health care hurdle. I don't think it's going to happen. 17 days ago | Tagged As: yes
