I suggest that people who are against stem cell research on religious grounds or otherwise maintain their morality by not using the benefits that would emerge from the science. Those of us who do not share these beliefs should be free to use its benefits. People against this research are actually responsible for halting progress and costing lives by their absurd resistance to research that's beneficial to the human race Side: Yes, it's not wrong

There is a gradient of personhood and these embryos have far less (nearly none) than a grown human and so these people's desires are clearly going to be more important and should be. I would say that it is more immoral not to do this if it will help mankind than to do it. Side: Yes, it's not wrong
It's an embryo, it has no awareness, no thought process and feels no pain. It has about as much to it as a growth of cancer cells, though the comparison isn't flattering at all, there is no conciseness to it, no self-awareness. I think it could be hard for someone to donate it in the event something happened as they would be seeing what it could have been. But it would take courage and an act of generosity to look beyond that to use its potential to save other lives. It's ethical and moral, but I think it could be very painful. Side: Yes, it's not wrong
