If I were to guess a computer simulation of the world we're in now.

The metaphysical notion that the world is a simulation falls subject to the same infinite regress issues as other notions that rely on undetectable or observable states or conditions. If the world is a simulation, then why wouldn't our creator world also be a simulation, and it's creator world, and on and on until we have a multiverse of simulated worlds with one ultimate actual reality that is unknowable as it is indistinguishable from a simulation.

It's a fun idea, but not one that should be taken very seriously unless or until it can be tested. Like the multiverse.

Doesn't the existence of irrational numbers kinda disprove the notion that this could be a computer simulation?

Dude. that movie is over 20 years old. And I always thought it was absurdly overrated to begin with.

So please.

Just take the blue pill and quit your whining.

It's for your own good.

Although there is a possibility that the existence of the known universe is a simulation, there is no actual way to prove it that we know of. If it is a simulation, we wouldn't know because we would all be stuck inside of it. It's safe to say that the possibility can be shaved off by Occam's razor until we have found a way to tell.
