A debate site should be a place for responsible people who want to better our nation.

The people who are on here simply to play a game of garnering points, do a disservice to those who care about important issues.

I would never try to deny a person's rights to create debates even if his motives are purely egotistical and superficious. But I believe the people who are simply trying to get points, are very disruptive to what might otherwise be an informative place for people to share important opinions.

No. What do the points do for you? Nothing really. This is a site for debating and though sometimes points are nice, ultimately they serve no real purpose.

I don't need to fight for points. I won that category ages ago. I have more points than anyone. No one is even close to catching up to me. Maybe you don't know who I am ;)

I couldn't care less about points. And frankly, anyone scheming for the most points on a website has their life priorities way out of whack.
