Yes all music should be one way. This is what's given rise to the beautiful and varied art form of music composition that we enjoy today. Though I get the feeling this topic is a passive-aggressive (through the use of sarcasm) attempt to deride one form of creative expression by virtue of its lackluster composition and delivery. If this is the case, I recommend you google dubstep. Everyone has the right to express themselves, even if they are half-retarded and possess no skill whatsoever in the field they're endeavoring into :) Side: Yeah mang

No. I didn't watch the video and don't need to for a well thought out logical argument for all music not being that way. All music shouldn't be any particular way. Music is (or should be) a form of self expression, if there was one way it should be it would defeat the purpose of music. Also, that's how Hitler got started. Side: No!
I was trying to be humorous, albeit a bit dry. I thought the 'this is how Hitler got started' part would indicate I wasn't serious. Subtlety has always been my curse, you dumb s.o.b. Do I need to put a smiley face emoticon after that, or a "lol" to broadcast I am not being serious? Or does the conflicting nature of the sentence indicate that enough? Side: Yeah mang

I agree all music shouldn't be like this. I disagree that all rap music is about the things you mentioned. Mainstream rap is usually about that, yet their are some artists (Eminem, Wale, J Cole to name a few) that don't just rap about that. When rap was created, it was a way black people living in the ghettos of large cities, could let their voice be heard. As it evolved, it became popular and more famous to just make jokes and talk about all the stuff you have, but their are some people who stick to it's original purpose. Side: No!
