Is tomato a fruit or a vegetable?
Well, if I had to give an example of a vegetable, i would take tomatoes.
But when i was in school, I always thought of it as a fruit.
Consider this, fruits are eaten raw where as vegetables need to be cooked before eating. But fruit also mean the reproductive part of plants. So tomatoes are vegetable as well as fruit. But if you're asked by a kid, what would you say? Is tomato firstly a fruit and secondly a vegetable? Or the other way around?
