well you see, prophet mohammad lived 1400 years ago. back then, the women reached puberty at a very young age. and also...he got engaged to her at a young age, but he kept her in her parent's house because she hasn't reached her puberty yet. when she reached her puberty, he took her to his house to show people that you can get married to a female when she reached her puberty and not before. also there is not a specific and sure record of her true age so you cannot say anything about that. And also you are talking about 1434 years ago, were the age of marriage was 12 and 13 years old! yes that is young but it was a very long time ago, and the American civilization is 500 years old while the islamic civilization is 1434 years old! and in america, about 200 years ago, the marriage age was 13 and 14 years old! so you cannot base such info on a judgement for islams! prophet mohammad also got married to a Jewish female who was in her twenties and then she declared her islam..also the first women he got married to was 40 years old when he was 25..she lived with him for 25 years! he got married to her after SHE proposed to him because she loved him and new he was a loyal and honest man. And for the record, he got married to that young female to show the muslims and all the people that you should get married to a female when she reaches her puberty and not before. Her mother was the one who told him to marry her daughter because she knew he was a loyal and honest man who had the best of intentions. that female's name was Safiyya and he did not marry her because she was young or anything like that! he married her for a reason! she loved him and respected him and he respected her as well.

Muhammad's young wife Aisha was not harmed in the marriage, states that Muhammad is the best of men and treated her kindly, and grew to be a great leader and scholar. So if Muhammad's marriage to Aisha is pedophilia, then according to such logic, pedophila would be a good thing, since the very same sources state that Aisha grew to be a nonle leader and scholar.
