Israel is a horrible ally to the US

Yes, it's a very one sided relationship.

The one mitigating factor I want to point out, however, is if we didn't have Israel smack dab in the middle of all those Muslim nations then we'd probably have to get a lot cozier with the Mulsims to keep our presence and protect our interests. Israel is like the kid no one likes who you bring along because he can get you in somewhere you wouldn't otherwise get to go.

We have given the Zionists billions of dollars in military aid for nothing. They sank the USS Liberty and don't care about us, but want to take everything from us. It's time to end Israel.

Your name is very common in Israel, did you know that? I travel there fairly often. Was in Haifa just two months ago.

That said, I love Israel. I could easily live there. I'm assuming you know absolutely nothing about it. Except what you get from your media, when you're not off wanking about somewhere.

Israel is a great ally. They are our best friends in the Middle East, and are strategically crucial for us to keep an eye on those terrorist came fuckers. This is why the USA gives Israel more money each year than anybody else. I'm hoping we can have them take out Iran for us. Netanyahu would love to do it, he's an ex Israeli military commander.

Yeah, Nate, your name is Hebrew. Except for the coolguy bit. LOL

So enlighten us with your foreign policy expertise and tell us why you believe Israel to be a terrible ally. We can do a formal debate on this issue if you fancy that, mate. Let me know.

Cheers.

Oh, insofar as your claim they don't help us, you need to read this and educate yourself a bit. I trust the Washington Institute of Po!Itical Policy is a credible enough source for you? LOL

Indeed I do. I've been there four times, and usually stay for a week or ten days.

It's gorgeous. Especially along the coast. Palm trees, lots of desert greenery. Very similar to the area called the Fertile Crescent, where the Tigris and Euphrates conjoin. Perfect Mediterranean climate.

Israelis are super friendly to Brits, as well as Americans. Whenever I go to a pub there I can hardly ever buy my own drinks! I had a second story walkup about 100 meters from the beach just south of Haifa. The US had a naval base there and the company I work for maintains and repairs their satellite systems. The company actually owns the apartment and lodges us when we visit.

Jerusalem was my favorite of the tourist sites I visited. I also went on a tour to the Holy Sepulchre and the Temple Mount. I saw all the Muslims doing their praying, right next to the Jews on the Wailing Wall, which is all that is left of the old Hebrew temple. It's weird seeing those two factions practicing their religions so close. But I saw no fighting ever. I also love all the open sir markets in Israel. I would hit them after work and get fresh fish or fruit or this wonderful kabobs for dinner.

There was a great openair cafe where I'd sit outside and have a drink and watch the sunset. Most Israelis in the larger cities speak English, as well as Hebrew or Arabic. A good deal of French as well. I made friends with the woman who owns the cafe. She calls me Bubbeleh.

I could easily live there, and am looking into purchasing a time share condo on the coast.

Let me know if you have any questions on Israel.

Cheers.
