As for bigotry, it's a semantical word. It means you simply disapprove of someone's beliefs or lifestyle. That can be good of it can be bad. Liberals trash Christianity and Conservatives regularly because they disagree with those beliefs. Is it evil? Not if you are a lib. Thus, it's semantics.

The interesting irony is that liberals consider the disapproval of homosexuality to be bigotry until the disapprover is a Muslim, thus hypocrisy on the lib's part.
