A 30' wall is DEFEATED by a 35' ladder.. A 150' wall is DEFEATED by a drone flying at 155'.. A wall that doesn't go DEEP in the ground is DEFEATED by a tunnel.. A wall ISN'T immoral or racist. It's just stupid..

If the wall is very deep, that'd be one hell of a tunnel, and a lot of noticable traffic for satelites to pick up. When you pick it up, you refill the hole or wait for them on the other side, then fill it up.

You miss, much of the point.
Most of these folks do not have 35' ladders, 155' drones, or tunnels.
That means the wall will funnel most folks toward places where there are no walls.
It is like having a front door lock. It is not impossible to beat, but not it still tends to move those who would enter your home illegally to a different house that does not have a lock, or even a door.
That means the more wall we have, the more effective our border agents can be by not having to patrol the entire 2000 miles intensely.
NOBODY is saying that the wall will solve ALL the problems of those who would burgle their way into our home. It would merely be an important piece of making other methods more effective.

Why not hope, instead that they are stopped at the border? Hoping they cross at an easy organized crossing is like hoping a burglar comes through your back door instead of down your chimney. Why not hope the burglar is kept out of your house altogether?

Obviously the wall (and all the tech and personnel Trump associates with it) is the fourth best solution.
Best, of course, is that nobody needs to leave their own country. Kumbaya, and all that.
Second best is that, regardless of need, people respect US border and our laws, and only come in legally, at ports of entry, and only stay for the specified period of time, and abide by the terms of their admittance to our country.
Third best is that those who enter illegally receive no social service benefits, employment, educational opportunities for themselves and their children, or access to housing or medical care. (By removing incentives for illegal action, we discourage the illegal action.)
Fourth best is that set of border solutions that combines walls, scanners, drones, personnel, etc. keep out those who would break into our country.
Fifth best *is that those who try to break into our country face horrible and disheartening hardship, danger and even death on their journey. At least then we end up with tougher genes in our American gene pool.
Personally, I would rather people who try to break into my house are ripped apart by my dogs or fall to their deaths while breaking into my second story window.
Walls do work. A few will find a way over. The rest will not. That means it did its job. If they don't work, why did libs in the past fund fences? A woman with kids is going to get over the wall how?

As a nation, the people have a right to control who comes in. Otherwise, we don't have a nation. We don't have the same issues North as we do South. And, I agree with you that we don't have the same issues with our northern border as we do with the southern.. So, should we SOLVE the issues we have with the south, or wall it off?? If the issue is drugs, all we gotta DO, is legalize drugs HERE, and that STOPS 'em from coming in, rip zap. If the issue is disease, we HELP our neighbors get well. We DON'T wall 'em off..
