It's not just to stop this person but with so many bad things going on in the world people NEED to hear that something has been sorted out to give them hope that other things can be sorted out as well. Hey guess what an interviewer went to KONY! OMG RIGHT? Isn't it suspicious that some random non famous interviewer can find Kony and the guy who made invisible children couldn't? It just baffled me. It was in 2006 and Kony STATES that he never kidnapped NOR did he cut the lips of the children. (in his knowledge) He just fights against the Ugandan President because Uganda is getting worse everyday. People just base things on what they see. ...You are all aware that Joseph Kony is infact long passed right? And even if he was alive (which he isn't), he was never a leader of the LRA, (who was also captured long ago). Notice how the Joseph Kony story is no different from the Bin Laden story. "Lets Go Find This Evil Man Somewhere... in a Cave" Only this time it's the Jungles of Africa. I guess the International Bankers who make Money from War Profiteering ran out of ideas...Also, Invisable Children? Bull shit. The people of Uganda know this, but aparently the ones speaking for them, the Americans, are really the ones getting paid with donations. Look it up, 30% of all credit donations went in their pockets, we dont know what happened to the cash donations however, but thats almost imposibble to trace. and also, there is absolutely no indipendant African news source that says Kony is infact alive... and every Ugandan citizen is aware that Kony was captured over 20 years ago, look into it people, its a scam... know your facts. The precise thought that came to mind when I finally succumbed to the hype and sat down to watch the truly laughable video was argumentum ad permotionem. You shan't find a lot about the latter word (permotio, permotionis) online, but it pretty much means "strong emotion". The film's desire is laughable and, I think, potentially very dangerous. The filmmaker wants to be a revolutionary, he wants to change the way the world thinks and acts; I will never trust nor will I ever respect anybody so bombastic. What Kony has allegedly done is hideous, but flooding the cities of the world in posters is a moronic way of dealing with something which, in the scheme of things, truly is not that important. Hundreds of thousands of people die each year from malaria; working as hard at raising awareness and attempting to combat malaria and malaria outbreaks shall do far more for the human race than capturing (and especially getting the US involved in the capture of) Joseph Kony. It's because the American people doesn't care about the Pakis. They only care about "FLUFFY ANIMALS AND LITTLE CHILDREN" bla bla bla and people die everyday and they get so obsessed with the idea that some kid or some guy dead on the news is a horrible thing and protest, etc about it. Ok for an example how come pigs dying is okay and dogs dying for food isn't? The US people just speak their minds illogically and only care on the useless subjects. Side: Dont Stop Kony

Very true. I mean i understand it is a problem but the only reason there is such a hype about it is because now everybody knows about it and as humans we care. The other day i was talking to someone and they were like where is Pakistan and i felt if people don't even know where Pakistan is how are they supposed to help them. But if everybody knew about it then wouldn't everyone want to help and feel the same way. It is all publicity. Side: Dont Stop Kony
