Let me give you some examples of Narcissism & what insecurity does to people.

I looked up symptoms of Narcissism, and pasted a couple of the signs....

1)"Another narcissistic indicator is responding to what others say by beginning with the word "But...."  But is a backspace-delete key that negates whatever came before, such as what someone else has said.  The but eraser deletes others' viewpoints from the discussion."

2)"I can’t be expected to apologize or to admit blame.  I’m above others and above reproach. If you expect me to say how I’ve contributed to a problem, I’ll get mad at you."

3)"Unwillingness to take responsibility for mistakes may come from confusing the part with the whole. "If I've done one thing that's not right, then I must be all bad."  That's all-or-nothing thinking."

4)"Whatever the source of the sensitivity to criticism and difficulty admitting mistakes, the upshot is a tendency to blame others when anything has gone wrong."

Ok, does any of that ring a bell on this debate site? How many times have I said that Non Christians are seldom willing to admit the immoral irresonsible choices people are making in today's culture. The word morality is a dirty word for them most times.

This article on Narcissism gives the answer why. Let me paste 3) here once more...
"Unwillingness to take responsibility for mistakes may come from confusing the part with the whole. "If I've done one thing that's not right, then I must be all bad."  That's all-or-nothing thinking."

So you see, the reluctance to admit all the harms to our society from things such as promiscous sex, taking illegal drugs, abusing alcohol,  abandonng your children, etc. etc. boils down to your insecurity of being blamed for something.... anything... because if you have done any of these things, you must be all bad.

Therefore you refuse to admit there is anything worng with this new no fault anything goes culture and the irresponsible choices people constantly make. In your mind, to admit it would be calling yourself bad, and you are too insecure to admit such a thing.

So how does this article say you will treat people who shine a light on any possible immorality or irresponsibility in today's culture? Let me paste it one more time..... 2) "If you expect me to say how I’ve contributed to a problem, I’ll get mad at you."

Gee I wonder why people get so mad at me when stating the simple truth to what is happening in our culture. I'm not even pointing a finger at you personally, Im speaking in a broad sense to this no faut culture, yet you always take it personally and deny deny deny.

Me thinks there is some Narcissism going on in this debate site, and in this culture :) BIG TIME!

So now we will all understand what is causing the Left's outrage when Conservatives or Christians shine a light on today's irresponsible culture.

"1)"Another narcissistic indicator is responding to what others say by beginning with the word "But...." But is a backspace-delete key that negates whatever came before, such as what someone else has said. The but eraser deletes others' viewpoints from the discussion."

This is a debate website, and "rebuttal", which is literally the legal terminology for saying "but", is a legitimate and unavoidable part of the debate process. It is literally structured into academic debate and legal processes. Saying people on a debate website who say but are narcisists is basically saying everyone in debate and law is automatically a narcisist. You're on a debate website, too. Theorectically simply be being on this site and participating in rebuttal, whether you call it that or not, makes you guilty of what you claim. But the reality is simple use of the word but does not prove that anyway. It's is merely an article of speech. And someone speaking in any context other than absolutes, needs qualifying articles of speech like but to arrive at more precise answers than your extreme declarations.

2)"I can’t be expected to apologize or to admit blame. I’m above others and above reproach. If you expect me to say how I’ve contributed to a problem, I’ll get mad at you."

This transgression is committed by FromWithin personally more than any other member of this site.

3)"Unwillingness to take responsibility for mistakes may come from confusing the part with the whole. "If I've done one thing that's not right, then I must be all bad." That's all-or-nothing thinking."

And here FromWithin criticizes all or nothing thinking, but again, he commits all or nothing thinking constantly, more than anyone else on this site, except possibly SaintNow, who probably is also him anyway.

4)"Whatever the source of the sensitivity to criticism and difficulty admitting mistakes, the upshot is a tendency to blame others when anything has gone wrong."

FromWithin is so sensitive to criticism that he has banned the vast majority of members of this site at one time or another.

That was easy.

There are moments.....where I am just....utterly flabbergasted at how....honestly I'd say stunning (at this point), he is.

It's like he was writing his own autobiography but he doesn't even know it.
