Letter: Shutdown shows how childish Donald Trump is
The shutting down of the government on the part of President Donald Trump just shows how much of a childish person he is. That is one point. The bickering and fighting going on in Washington show that neither party is there for the good of the people. For one, I am sick of the whole mess.
The GOP is going to have a hard time recovering from the disaster they caused by selecting Trump for the candidate to run for president. And after seeing the mistake they have made, they totally ignore his rants, lies and abuse of the office. They do nothing to correct the mistake.
The Democrats, too, are guilty of not putting forth a good candidate for president. Both parties have failed the American people.

Just because Trump said he would take responsibility for the shut down doesn't mean the Dems, Pelosi, and Schumer are not culpable.
