Nahhh …. I'm a lib and I like everything excon mentioned and a lot more. I even like SOME Northern, Eastern, Southern (except redneck) cultures. That's WHY they call us "liberals". WE like most everybody and most everybody likes us. WE even like our allies, our African friends, South and Central American friends, Canadians, Jews, Catholics, …. THAT is what a "liberal" is. WE don't "pick and choose" like religious conservatives … you know … different colors, different religions, different genders … we like them all …. liberally. That's because western culture isn't a culture. Western culture is a catch-all generalized term that refers to many distinct European cultures. It's like saying Asian Culture, taking into account both Japan and India are part of that. Or Hispanic culture which clumps together like 20 distinct countries as if they were 1. If you argue that Western culture is the heritage of European civilization, then all of Latin America would be part of Western Culture as well. If you argue that it's only white Europeans, then Russians would make be part of it too (they are not). It's a ambiguous term that became too politically tainted because it's used as a euphemism for "white heritage" in many white supremacy circles. That's probably why some people rather not use it.
