First of all I would like to say that any true liberal will denounce political violence regardless of it's target. I'm not Republican or Democrat because I'm from England where these parties don't exist. There are radical left wingers who are demonizing right wingers as Nazis. These same radicals then state it is okay to punch Nazis. The hyping of these two memes together invariably has and will create violence. I fear with all this "Donald Trump is literally Hitler" talk that further attempts on his life will be made. I'm no fan of Donald Trump but if he gets assassinated things will escalate. Violence also has no place in the political process of a democratic country. While I focus on the radical left here I'm doing so simply because it's more mainstream than the radical right and therefore has more impact. The difference is, when the right is angry, it doesn't put on masks and threaten to kill everyone, nor does it use intimidation and fire to shut down speeches. It's amazing how quickly that is forgotten. Trump stood up there and swore he'd pay the medical expenses of those who committed violence against the protesters. He's made multiple statements meant to incite and encourage violence in the name of "making America great again".
