The mistake I feel you've made here is you are thinking of the political spectrum as a one dimensional line. I view the political spectrum as a plane with the ability to move along a x and y axis. By assuming all people can only be a liberal or conservative it leaves no room for free thinking for example most people at the moment would probably describe me as a conservative if it were only a line but I think abortion should be completely legal how could I be conservative? Simple I'm libertarian. Don't assume all people in a group think the same way there can be someone in the GOP that supports restrictive gun laws. Free thinking is not only possible it is encouraged. 1

What you are missing is that I am not speaking to people like you. I'm speaking to those who identify as Progressives, Liberals, Democrat Politicians. Maybe you missed my constant mention of these ideological people? There is not a Progressive or Liberal I know that refuses to vote for the Democrat Party on the grounds of their no restriction abortion stance. This means they are responsible for what their party supports. The Democrat Party refuses to put any limits on late term abortions. They also seldom speak to the moral breakdown in our culture. Morality is not the problem to them because this irresponsibility is benefitting their big government socialist Democrat Party. They never shame dead beat fathers who abandon their children. They never shame promiscuous people for being so irresponsible with people they don't even love. These irresponsible people are playing russian roulette with our children's lives. If you ever vote for these extreme Liberal democrats, I'm speaking to you as well because you are part of the probelm no matter what you claim to believe. 1
