Libs didn't fix immigration when they had super majority under Obama
In light of President Obama's decision to delay his much-anticipated edict on immigration until after November's elections, some critics are asking why the president and Democrats in Congress didn't pass immigration reform back when they had overwhelming majorities in both House and Senate. It's a good question — and a good reason to revisit 2009 and 2010, when immigration reform could have become a reality.
As a presidential candidate, Obama promised to "put comprehensive immigration reform back on the nation's agenda during my first year in office." After victory in 2008, he had the clout to do so: sky-high approval ratings, 257 Democrats in the House and, for a while, a filibuster-proof majority of 60 Democrats in the Senate.
And yet, immediately after being sworn in, Obama began to send out subtle signals that immigration reform wasn't a top priority. Reform was a "serious concern," Obama told a group of regional reporters in March 2009, but not an urgent one. "We've started to talk to all the parties involved and both parties here in Washington about the prospects of taking legislative steps," Obama said. "But obviously we've got a lot on our plate right now."

Nor did they allow for a legislative step in the right direction just last week. They preferred to claim that Trump is like Hitler separating kids from family and locking them up Dems refused to stop the practice so that they could continue to use these poor kids as leverage against Trump. Yes, this is how the Democrat Party works. They refuse to address the core reasons for so many problems in our culture, and then use these problems as talking points against the GOP. One of my pet peeves is when Democrats always bring up rape excuses for their support of ALL abortions for any reason up to birth. Do you ever hear them speaking out about the importance of a woman going to the doctors within a day or two to prevent conception? I never hear them educating women to such an important thing. They don't care about women getting pregnant from a rape because these rape abortions are what they constantly use to excuse their No Restriction abortion support. The Democrat Party is as inhuman and corrupt as they come. Side: Oh well

I don't know what party I belong to on guns. I hate guns, but would resist disarming the public like during Katrina and whatever, but am with GOPolicy moderates in that with a few minor regulations, gun use should be legal. Government should fear the people, not the other way around, and the British would have won the war if we had no guns IMHO. Side: Oh well

Now we are seeing what a good President can do with the majority GOP. He passed new tax legislation, he got North Korea to sit down and talk about nuclear weapons, he stopped the forced purchase of expensive Obamacare, he got a good Constitutional Supreme court Justice appointed, he is addressing the illegal immigration problem, he is helping stop Muslim extremists from getting in this nation, he stopped American tax payers from paying for abortions overseas, he cut many many regulations hurting jobs, he is actually trying to get fair trade with China and others, etc. etc. I think he is one of the few presidents who is not after power or money and actually cares about making America great again. NOT TRANSFORMING IT! He knows how to get the things he promised done. Side: Resist

Progressives are now refusing to claim Obama because he allegedly is not far left enough, making them partisan hacks. Obama had illegal wars, did nothing about torture, and while I personally believe in healthcare over wealthcare, Obamacare failed to solve that problem. Obama is a lying statist hypocritical fuck who shat on GOPolicy while funding things with Jewish and Christian tax dollars that both groups oppose. I have the religious right to not pay for DMCommunism or GOPolicy things that go against my beliefs, but at least GOPolicy has trade, right to life, Israel, Christian rights and religious liberty, and I think building a wal or fence while creating a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers would be a lovely bipartisan compramize. Oh, and rich people on either side of the aisle no longer get free shit. Save welfare for working poor and disabled CITIZENS who can't work, while being like Britney spears and saying work bitch to everyone else would be just fine. Centrism, the radical concept that individual issues matter over a collective. Take care of home first. Side: Resist

Let me introduce you to Al Gore's Internet ! https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/ A larger explanation is political. Between 2008 and 2016, Democrats became more and more confident that the country’s growing Latino population gave the party an electoral edge. As we see today the Progressives are playing the same political card Side: Oh well

Hitler was different than Trump because Trump is in favor of religious liberty, consistant right to life, The Right to Try Act of 2018, fair and reciprical trade, questioned the offical story of 9111, and mis trying to work with libtards like you, but you want open borders and free abortions.
