This site claimed to be an Online debate community for logical, passionate people - CreateDebate.
I have found very few logical or passionate people on here. Needless to say that there appears to be no logical, passionate people here as well.

1. No one is logical or passionate about what you want them to be logical an passionate about all the time. 2. Nearly everyone is logical and passionate about something sometimes. And even in the event that every single person on this site were never logical, and never passionate, it would in no way change for whom the site was intended. I like to think of CD as a semi-pop debate site. 99% of the people here don't have valid opinions about anything (50% of which are trolls, 40% idiots, and 9% younger people that don't try), especially compared to other sites... This one doesn't take itself too seriously, but the 1% of the people here that are here often have shown their valor somewhere along the lines with a debate or an argument that is worth reading. As iamdavidh has said, everyone here is passionate about something, give them reason to be logical about that something and then you'll see. Anyhow, I think the creators called CD "an Online debate community for logical, passionate people" because that's what they want here... That's what the site is here for... the more logical and passionate people, the better the site will do... It's an ad that is calling you to duty. Beat all of the buffoons that have been here for years into submission with something worth-while. Side: All lies

I think that there are a lot of really irritating people here, and there are some serious ones, just like there are serious debates and silly ones. Perhaps there could be some way to separate them, or some way to block users that are only on the site to mess around. I think that would kill the spirit of the site somewhat, though. I'm a newcomer here, and you can find seriousdebates (or at least I can). You just need to look. It helps if you identify fairly serious people and go to the debates they do. You got me. What more can I say? I lied. I'm both logical and passionate, even-though this is impossible. I did the impossible. My life is now complete. What will be my next challenge? I like to think and make others think as well. iamdavidh has already named me a strawman, the name fits. To invoke thought of any kind is my purpose here and in the outside world as well.
