I joined this site to debate about philosophical topics, but I saw this and just wanted to weigh in with my opinion. Obviously this is not a meaningful "debate," it's just a matter of preference and practicality. I used PCs for many years until I got my first Mac, about 2 years ago. I love that with the Mac, everything is very organized and streamlined (note: I don't need 50 million cords under my desk!). Which is great. My biggest concern with switching to a Mac was that I love games, and most games are made for PCs. With Parallels and the ability to partition, however, you can have a PC... on your Mac. So that eliminates that problem, and you get the best of both worlds! Side: Mac

Yeah, Macs are extremely versatile, while being able to run multiple operating systems with the new Intel-based Macs. There's a bit of a learning curve, but the functionality and ease of use, along with the fool-proofness is pretty astounding. Immune to viruses (not Trojans), you can't quit Finder (Explorer in Windows), and everything is designed to work together, so there are no compatibility issues. Side: Mac
I was once a windows user and i hated macs, that was until i got a mac myself. The user interface is more cool than windows. The mac also comes with so many awesome programs like Ilife and garageband, Unlike windows pc which comes with a Windows live movie maker which would probably hang when you open it. Side: Mac
