Holy hellfire. This Dana garbage was going on from when I last came here almost a third of a year ago. What the hell did she do? Why is she worth the entire forum circlejerking about her? I did a debate on whether consensual pedophilia is wrong, and I didn't get this much hate. What'd she do?
I don't really think this is a good idea guys. To be honest I don't think she should be left out. If one of you guys were the ones that got left out you would probably feel bad as well .
Eh. I don't really care either way. As bad as I can get I at least can try to respect the viewpoints of others, despite differences. Unless the other person is a total bastard/bitch/whatever, then I could care less what they say.
I feel as if that would be a wrong thing to do. Excluding her from debates seems mean. As if nobody wants her here. I dont want her to feel abandoned or anything. Maybe she just attention or is trying to convey something.
I was pointing out that you are way too nice to people and in being consistent with your personality, you have to be nice to every one. Dana included. (I'm just stating that your good person)
I beg to differ with you, because she brought this on all by herself. She has blocked me and numerous other people just for stating an opinion different than hers. The major problem with this is not that she banned us, but she responds to the argument and then bans the person so they cannot respond back.
(Fictional example):
Random debater "Republicans are better than liberals, because .............."
She bans me from every debate of hers, simply because I always have a differing viewpoint from her and she can't accept that I don't accept her viewpoint. Then she whines that I'm shoving my beliefs down her throat when she's the one doing that.
So whether it's fair or not, block the bitch. She'll just do the same thing to others when she's bored with me.
Honestly, I kind of abandoned the whole 'right and wrong' mentality a while ago. The entire world's fucked up, so what's the point besides preserving a stagnant society that refuses to see change at any cost.
So yeah. I'm getting preachy, so that's the end of that.

There is a difference between respect and tolerance. Respect does have to be earned, but tolerance is a viture that we must practice ourselfs. Just because we may not agree with someone does not mean we should try to mute them.

She's not blocked.... it was a joke. She started pre-blocking me from her debates so I did the same to her and she got all bent out of shape about it and tried to start some silly Challenge Debate with me. LOL

Oh, Dana. You already know that it is human nature to judge. This is a literal fact of the human psyche; judging is what helps human survive; to make choices to survive, or not.

I'm not Hellno, I don't know. I can only make my assumptions, hence the reason I'm just clarifying. I don't think this debate is meant to be attacking, and as of his last response to me I gathered that his endgame is to teach you a lesson.
Unfortunately she's played the mentally ill card. She can be a very unpleasant person but because she keeps saying how mentally ill she is I have to think that she doesn't have the capacity to engage in debates in any other way that she does now - i.e. being offensive and seemingly purposefully missing the point.
The best thing to do is just not to engage in any lengthy debates with her and see her replies in light of what I've just said.
