Maybe. But I think they'll probably go after his credibility first. That's the way it usually works. Trump will distance himself and Manafort will be publicly attacked in the Conservative press.

Manafort is already singing like a bird and maybe that's his best protection because once Mueller is done with him the horse is out of the barn and except for revenge the Russians have nothing to gain by killing him.

I think the most interesting aspect of Manafort turning on Trump is that Manafort was the campaign chairman at the same time that Pence was the head of the transition team and during that period of time there was a great deal of Russian involvement in the campaign and in the transition team in particular. Russians were all over the Trump campaign during that period of time.

I hope Manafort takes down Pence after the the democrats (hopefully) win the House back which would mean that the Democrat Speaker of the House would become President of the United States.

The person I'm most concerned about is Robert Mueller. If he were killed his staff (they surely know how to get the job done by now) would be able to carry on without him but I believe that the Russians would love to take him out just to create chaos in our country.
