McDonald's, Good or Bad?
The food is disgusting and filled with meat from over 1000 cows, as well as contains cow dung. The toys are made in china in factories where workers are forced to obey and the windows have nets to prevent workers from jumping to commit suicide. Workers don't earn enough money in one week for a single happy meal.
However
The food tastes good and hasn't caused any recent problems. That's about it.
So, is it really worth it to go to McDonald's to have a bite after a long day of work or a hard day of school? For more information, read a book called "Chew on This", or go to these sites:

McDonald`s is somewhat a company that would risk anything for success. Thus it succumbs to dirty means from the food they sell, and the resources they expend. Here is a link about McDonald`s doings. Side: Bad, filthy and cruel
I dont mind the food but McDonalds do have questionable ethics and dont care about the local economy of the towns they open in they have recently bought an old pub in my town ic they get their way the pub will be bulldozed so they can build the new restaurant which will be sad, as the pub has been there since 1675. Also opposite the pub are privately owned takeaways which will find it hard to compete and will probably go out of business if McDonalds opens. Side: Bad, filthy and cruel

I believe that eating fast food is harmful for our health. Fast food is cheap and convenient, two factors that make it particularly attractive. Unfortunately, that comes with a price. If you eat fast food only once in a while and in moderate amounts, you should be fine. Problems might arise if fast food becomes your main source of nutrition or if you start eating larger and larger portions. There are some bad sides of junk food: Lack of nutrients; Fat content; obesity risk; Sarah Leibowitz, a neurobiologist at Rockefeller University in New York City, has more evidence that eating fast food is self-reinforcing. Her experiments show that exposure to fatty foods may quickly reconfigure the body's hormonal system to want yet more fat. She has shown that levels of galanin, a brain peptide that stimulates eating and slows down energy expenditure, increase in rats when they eat a high-fat diet. Ann Kelley, a neuroscientist at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, has uncovered more evidence that the release of opioids in the nucleus accumbens tells your brain to keep eating. She found that if rats' opioid receptors are overstimulated with a synthetic enkephalin, the rats eat up to six times the amount of fat they normally consume. They also raise their intake of sweet, salty and alcohol-containing solutions, even when they are not hungry. Side: Bad, filthy and cruel

The United States is a capitalist society. As far as I can tell Mc Donald's is "good" at capitalism. It tries to maximize its profits while keeping it's customers happy. Given MD success I have to assume that people agains MD are in the minority no matter how much poop may or may not be in the food. So, if anyone is to blame it the governing bodies that allow Mc Donald's to do what it does. MD can't be expected to disadvantage itself relative to the rest of the industry. This is what regulations are for. It creates a level playing field that all companies must adhere to. Side: Good, healthy and cheap
