Meterosexuals?

So what do you people think about 'Meterosexuals'?

Are you for this new age of men where the boundaries between men and women are being weakened?

Are you against this new age of men doing/acting feminine and/or defining themselves as heterosexuals?

Please note there will be some humour so do not take everything seriously!

Irrelevant of me being against homosexuality...

I think that men who spend than 10 minutes getting changed (unless it's for something special or a night out where 20mins is the max) waxing/removing hair, using hand cream, facial moisturisers, nail w/e, lip balms etc. is the same as being gay. I don't mean literally gay as in taking it up the bum gay, but gay as in not being a man (rrraaaaaaawwwrrrr) gay.

HOWEVER my cousin who is about as close as me as being gay uses hand creams. So is it acceptable to do 1 or 2 things and still not be a metero??

In my personal opinion, you can tell when a guy is gay without knowing his usual rituals for getting ready to go somewhere. If a guy is you know "finally got it right" is going out on a date (with a female), then there is nothing wrong with him taking alittle extra time to get ready. A guy is gay when skinny jeans two sizes too small and v-neck t-shirts that are two sizes too small come into play. It is sick to look at. I was at college the other day, I work there, and this guy walked into the library with that out fit on and earings. When he talked, he was gay faggot and everyone could tell. It was gross. ~! V

LOOL!! yeah, true.

I HAAATE those overly gay people... who talk in that gay voice, act in a gay way, are really loud about it, walk gay etc. But that's another story. Other gays who aren't so obvious.. I don't hate them..

Meterosexual (pronounced "Met-er-O sex-U-al") (short: Metero) is a colloquialism (popular modern slang) which means someone who dresses or is flamboyant in ...

NOTHING more attractive to a straight girl than a clean guy. There's a point at which it's ridiculous, just like for girls., but I'm all for presentable, hygienic guys. Armpit hair? Disgusting on everyone. Dental hygiene? Super sexy on everyone. Meterosexual? Best of both.

Bloody hell......

Never knew that being straight meant you weren't clean!

Fucking hell... I'm not allowed to shower now!! Can't brush my teeth!! Wash my face and hands!!

DUH!!!..... Showering, brushing, washing, cleaning is completely straight and was not invented to men by the first meterosexual.

However.. somehow, you've made a point. Armpit hair. On females obviously that's disgusting, but males?? I never knew that one...

Meterosexuals are guys who put 10 different types of shampoo on, pluck their eyebrows, 10 different hand creams and face moisturisers, etc. etc.

They're basically gays who like girls.

They're basically gays who like girls.

Well that's just a horribly biased statement. Is there something that personally negatively affects you when guys put 10 different types of shampoo on, pluck their eyebrows, et cetera?

That's hilarious!!! And It is what that guy is saying. Right on KINDA~! V

I think every guy has a few metrosexual traits. You can't be "100% manly" unless you go out every day to hunt your food, never bathe, never cut your hair, and look like a bum. I wouldn't consider myself metrosexual, but I "manscape" my eyebrows (because I don't want a unibrow), I bathe daily and use shampoo and conditioner and body wash, I take care of my body. There's nothing wrong with it.

It only gets a little weird when a guy starts trying on bras, but that's not metrosexuality, that's a psychological disorder in which a person of one gender truly believes he or she is not supposed to be the gender that he or she actually is.

Side: For It

I agree with your argument (hooray for manscaping!) except for the last paragraph. I definitely wouldn't apply the term "psychological disorder" to a transgendered person.

I agree!

Just not the part about how never bathing and not cutting your hair is manly, ...it's not. A man takes care of himself.

Anyways, I happen to love scented candles. ((:

Lol.. exactly. I agree with you.. except that I don't need to manscape..... (yet)....

But this doesn't make you metrosexual....

What DOES make you metrosexual??

Side: For It

I think Metrosexuals are cool and stay up with the latest in fashion and colognes.
