Hello mr:

I don't think there ARE any moderates. The divide between us is wider than the Grand Canyon. If you're in the middle, you're drowning in the Colorado River. Oh, there's people who SAY they're in the middle, and they might even believe it..

There's NO middle in health care.. There's NO middle on race relations.. There's NO middle on the 12 million undocumented. I could go on...

There are middles to every one of those positions. Healthcare positions can involve straight single-payer, expansion of Medicare, coverage of preexisting conditions, tax rates, responsible parties... to name a few. There are positions that would be defined as far-right, and far-left, and middle, depending on how you mix-and-match these concepts.

Of course there is also a vast middle on race relations. There are too many interconnected variables with such a broad subject. The same with the 12 million undocumented immigrants - even the idea that it's 12 million is in dispute. Some say let them in, some say send them out, some say give them time, some say immediately... even the foundational elements are in dispute, and so to extend the goal posts for liberals and conservatives so far as to encompass radically different ideas and still allow them to be regarded as falling under the same category is not plausible.

People who think there is no middle think that because they adhere to their version of politics like it's a religion.

I really think the center ground needs to unite behind classical liberal principles. In this regard we can effectively push back against the far right and far left that are both pushing racism, racial collectivism and authoritarianism. Tenets of classical liberalism include:

1) Individualism and judging people as individuals rather than exemplars of their group (racial or otherwise)

2) Civil liberties and civil rights (including freedom of speech and expression)

3) Equal treatment of all people regardless of sex, race, religion etc.

4) The rule of law and private property rights

5) Laissez-faire economic policy (with some restrictions)

True. At the core of being a moderate is trying to see what is good or wise for government and society no matter which side of the spectrum it comes from. Plus many people lean differently on different issues. I lean left on social issues but right on fiscal ones. I believe in helping people but not breaking the bank to do it.

And it's a complete myth that moderates don't exist. That's just what extremists want people to think so they can try to force them over to an ideology.

After denying it non stop forever, you finally admit you are socially Liberal (which covers about 90% of our topics).

It's truly sad how deceptive you are. It takes many months of deceptive rhetoric from you, to fnally get the truth of what we all knew from the beginning.

That pretty much sums up a Liberal. Hypocritical liars living in the insecurity of being found out for who they truly are.

Bogus.

1) I said at the core of moderate is seeing some of both sides. Listing one of the ways I see the liberal side does not make me a liberal.

2) I said "lean" one way on this and the other way on that. Not all in.

3) By your definition of hypocrite anyone who isn't 100% extreme all the way to either side of the political spectrum is a hypocrite. Ridiculous.

I can tell you at least 3 things, if not more, that have proven your hypocrisy. Wanna know?
